The process for determining the working state could fail with a "stdout maxBuffer length exceeded" error when encountering a very large number of unstaged changes. This was caused by the output of the underlying `git diff` command overflowing the default buffer size. This commit increases the `maxBuffer` option for the child process, allowing it to handle significantly larger outputs and preventing the application from crashing when processing substantial diffs.
