I would like to nominate @mrcjkb who is a true nix zealot.
He's been contributing since 2022, doing a lot of reviews and also doing quite a bit of work for nix that is not visible on nixpkgs, creating a lua package manager (lux) that plays nicely with nix for instance.
His PRs are mergeable from the get go and I find myself agreeing with all his decisions.
His experience with maintaining software really shows in his approach on how to handle migration, trade off between features/complexities, contributing tests (<3): overall a solid contributor.
It's also a pleasant experience giving to and receiving feedback from him, he has my full trust.
He's been contributing to nixpkgs' lua/vim/rust/haskell ecosystems and giving him merging permissions may allow him to contribute even more (which can be both a blessing and a curse, in which case sorry, just keep helping with the neovim stuff please :) ).

EDIT: just wanted to add we are not affiliated, never met him in real life (though I hope we do), and never shared an employer
