(feature request): Allow mermaid figures to use labels as filenames

Thanks. What is the use case ?

Is this related to making mermaid output cross referencable ? Or just being able to customize the filename as it can matters maybe ?

I am asking because we do have a generic syntax for it (https://quarto.org/docs/authoring/cross-references-divs.html)

Thanks for following this up.

The idea is to dynamically consume generated mermaid diagrams in a different file altogether.

E.g. doc-1.qmd generates the images while an unrelated doc-2.md from a different folder uses a relative path to consume these images. The problem with current approach is that if a new image is inserted in between existing images, the consumer will start displaying an incorrect image. Having concrete names makes this future-proof.
