Can't set forceFeedback and setAutocenter with different values #2

hidapi version: 0.11.2-1

OS: Ubuntu 20.04

If I try setting forceFeedback and setAutocenter with different values, the stiffness of the wheel still remain unchanged. forceOff also not working.
I'm initializing and running readLoop in a single threaded ROS2 node.
