Extend IMAGE: in-place replacement of existing images/placeholders (PR intent)

Context

I'd like to make a PR that extends IMAGE to support in-place replacement of existing (placeholder) images and placeholder shapes (and/or text boxes) —preserving the original container’s size, position, and anchoring (incl. headers/footers). Behavior aligns with image module's replace an existing image capability of Docxtemplater.

Before starting to work on it, would even be open to this as an additive enhancement to IMAGE?

Sounds useful. What did you have in mind? How would docx-templates identify that an image is a placeholder?
