From the quick overview it seems like it would help validate fail when it did not report on more than 250 tests. Reporting these errors requires good communication and collaboration among sever tools: maven, surefire plugin, cucumber, and JUnit. Seems they do not always play well together and detecting that situation is paramount to trusting the giant green check in github.
