For the love of god, please make the program remember your settings

Every time I generate a video I almost go deaf for a second until I can grab the volume handle and turn it down. Same with having to set my last settings for the vide generation every time I start the app.

Please, this should be top priority.

I dug into this — here's the root cause:

Backend settings (API keys, model steps, upscaler toggle, seed lock, prompt enhancer) persist correctly via settings.json through the AppSettingsContext → POST /api/settings flow.

Generation parameters (duration, resolution, FPS, aspect ratio, camera motion) and volume/mute state are stored in React useState only — they're never written to disk or localStorage. On restart, they re-initialize from hardcoded defaults:

• Playground.tsx → useState<GenerationSettings>(() => ({ ...DEFAULT_SETTINGS }))
• GenSpace.tsx → same pattern with DEFAULT_VIDEO_SETTINGS
• VideoPlayer.tsx → useState(false) for mute

The existing AppSettings model in the backend could be extended with these fields (e.g. default_duration, default_resolution, default_fps, volume_muted), and the frontend components would initialize from appSettings instead of hardcoded defaults. This would use the same persistence path that already works for model/inference settings.

Since the frontend is under active refactor, happy to wait for guidance on the preferred approach before opening a PR.
