Ciao @alcaliva , no my development will not fix the error you're experiencing in the CI. From the log, it seems that the Pythia8 configuration is not properly forwarded to the generator, making it crash

#2223 this will allow O2DPG hybrid generators to be tested directly by the CI. When this is merged GeneratorLFStrangenessInJetsTriggered_gap4.C should be changed to integrate the Hybrid() function.

Ciao @alcaliva , there are two issues with the PR:

1. The Pythia8 configuration when the external generator is used is not there anymore. You should keep

[GeneratorPythia8] # if triggered then this will be used as the background event
config=${O2DPG_MC_CONFIG_ROOT}/MC/config/PWGLF/pythia8/generator/pythia8_jet_ropes_136tev.cfg

before the Hybrid parameters setting
2. The hybrid test is not setup yet. The PR for the hybrid testing integration will be merged very soon, so I suggest you implement that part as well. It's fairly straightforward: you simply need to include in the MC/config/PWGLF/ini/tests/GeneratorLFStrangenessInJetsTriggered_gap4.C test file the function int Hybrid(). If the test is the same as the external one, you could simply add return External() inside of it. Let me know if you need any support for this.
